If you don’t mind me asking what kind of pressure do you use for the blaster? I thought of doing this with my console but I was worried about embedding the media in the plastic. What grit walnut shell are you using?

I use about 90 psi, for the shells if I recall, they come in fine med, and coarse, I think I have medium. I have also used very fine glass beads with good results too, no imbedding or abrasion of the fiberglass.

Also, just curious if that is a little dent or blemish on the top cover toward the passenger side? Hard to see in the first picture. Thanks!

No cracks in the back corners and yes there is a scrape in the top towards the front passenger side, here is a closeup of it
