Chevrolet Letters on a 69-72 Hood
Maybe just a wild hair, but I can be a sucker of trim and emblems and will be restoring my hood soon, sooo...
What kind of a job is it to put the letters on a later hood? I bet there is a double wall of sheet metal that would be a buggar to drill properly. Do they make the letters with adhesive backing in the same size and style as the 67-68's? I will not use a later model font. I know this might make a purist squirm, but my truck has been a franken-truck from the beginning. Most trucks in the condition mine was in would have been scrapped back in 95. I don't think adding the letters will over do the front end with bling, so I'm contemplating.

you can buy the letters on lmc for like 38 dollars I think, Dremel off the guide pins and and use 3m double sided tape and a razor. probably be easiest.
