Buyer beware

I had arranged to purchase a Hickey tire carrier from member Oscar1982. luckily before I sent any money, I saw on the Hickey parts thread that another member also said he was purchasing it. After confronting Oscar1982 he admitted to selling it to someone else. This after I had already helped him with his build. After posting this in the Hickey thread other members have PM'd me and said he had taken money from them for parts he sold to someone else. I just wanted to make sure nobody else gets burned.

Re: Buyer beware

This begs the question - Has anyone actually received anything from this guy?

Re: Buyer beware

As far as I can tell he never subscribed to the site to sell...

Good luck, Rg

Re: Buyer beware

I talked to the guy on the phone about the Hickey tanks.
He sounded real sketchy to me . After not agreeing on a price he turned into a total jerk ball .....
