Fuel pressure test
Does anyone know of a fuel pressure gauge for a TBI motor i can leave in place while driving, even if not permanent. Just want to monitor the pressure under a load to make sure it is keeping up.
I found plenty that can check the static pressure. Thanks, Chris |

Re: Fuel pressure test
this place for adapter unit . http://www.rvmorsemachine.com/newproducts.htm
great people and never heard bad in years of them around . for safety reasons you can not have fuel pressure in the cab of the vehicle . it has to be isolated if mechanical or electric sender . both in the end run about the same . then a 0-30 psi electric from someone like auto meter . kind of like this in what ever flavor you like . https://www.autometer.com/2-fuel-pre...-fse-4420.html i have the 0-100 psi for my 60 psi system i have on now . fuel left / tach middle / engine vac right . . . and my dash pad is crap so no i didnt screw a gauge pod to a good dash pad guys . . . .

Re: Fuel pressure test
I just went on amazon and got a fuel pressure test kit that included a barbed tee to schrader adapter. My truck had rubber fuel hose going up the backside of the engine(don't know if that was correct or not), so I cut that and put the tee in place. The fuel gauge and hose fit perfectly through the gearshift hole, and I could just glance at the floor board if I wondered if the fuel pressure was holding high enough. Safety -- big whoop

Did you have to modify the fuel line at the back of the TBI or did it fit inplace? |

Re: Fuel pressure test
few tweeks of the line and it fits in place .
you take out the stock adapter/spacer unit and put this slightly longer unit in its place .
