Another Lowered LS Oil Pan Question for the Newbie
I have a 67 C10 Short bed lowered 5" in the front and 7" in the rear. I have an LQ4 6.0 from an 05 Silverado. I planned on using the factory AC that is lower mounted. I purchased an LS Swap kit specifically for the AC from CPP. Here is my dilemma I purchased a camero oil pan part number 12628771. I installed the motor and tranny but don't have enough clearance to lower/tilt the tranny on to the tranny mount/cross member without the oil pan from hitting the crossmember. I would like to make what I have work since I already have money and time involved with the camero pan since I polished it so i'm open to suggestions. If I have to get another pan to get it to work with the stock AC mounted low then it is what it is but I someone has part numbers for the pan,windage tray, pick up tube and dip stick that would be awesome.

What engine stands and mounts are you running? I went with the CTVS pan on mine and it fits great with the POL engine stands. Here are the part numbers for the Caddy one.
CTVS Pan part #12631828 comes with new bolts and gasket Pick up Tube #12621299 Dipstick tube #12584738 Dipstick #1258437 Windage tray (if you want it) #12611129 You may be better off changing out engine stands to get the height you want, but that then may lead to trouble with your low AC mount. I moved my AC up to avoid this, but it really came down to where do you want to spend the money.

I'd get the engine and trans set....at the proper angle to match the rear diff angle....then worry about where the a/c needs to go....I've never seen one down low that didnt require notching the frame a bit but there may be some that didnt....

Classic Performance Products 6372MP-SM is the part number of the stands. The mounts are LS-AK-LM

Well after getting frustrated and talking to a third person at CPP we sent pics back and forth and what do you know they sent me the wrong motor mount brackets. That’s why my motor is about 2 1/2” forwards and my pan hits if I try to tilt the engine. They suggested using the rear bolt hole to make up the difference.
