Fruits of my labor

So after almost a year since ripping out my old 5.3 swap and dropping in my LS3, I can call the swap done. I still have a few odds and ends I want to clean up but I am fully able to drive this thing around. Super happy with how it’s turned out.

Took it a local shop to tune it and happy with my numbers 487/445torque. More then plenty of power to roast the tires.

I’m at a cross roads now with decidng what to do next with it... LSA or single 76/75 turbski.

Let me know what you guys think.

Stock bottom end and valve train, with just about every bolt on. Ported heads, ported fast102 manifold, 102TB, LT’s to 3” exhaust.

Re: Fruits of my labor

That thing its a little monster as is . I would leave it alone and drive the whammy out of it . Once you get past a certain power level on the street especially with street tires it takes some of the fun out of it . What you have will be a blast to drive and be able to handle it on the street safely .

But on the other hand if its a want thing I would go for it . I have had a lot of want things over the years .

My 82 is close to your set up but I have a ls2 bottom with all the goodies . I am around the 450 rwhp . I am in the process of building an iron ls3 out of some parts I have accumulated over time and plan to swap it in place for the ls2 short block . Even with the ls2 block theres not many trucks that can keep up with it . Those turbo trucks are just turning there wheels over . I just hope mine is some what close to your numbers . I would be happy .

Get your self a set of M&H racemaster tires . You will be glad you did . And drive it for a while .

Congrats on the setup . It will be fun . That torque curve is impressive
