Help with a 60

Hey guys, im about to start helping my friend sort out his 60. its lowered in the front with the wrong rear end. What do you recommend for a disk brake upgrade/suspension package power brakes everything? Ill get the right width rear end in it as well.

Im assuming this is the torsion bar truck. Can it be upgraded to coil or coil over easily?

It depends on if you want to keep the torsion bars ( I did ) you can go with disc brake spindles either in a kit or spindles only and local parts house for calipers, rotors, hoses , bearings and seals etc. You should also replace ball joints and tie rods.
If you want to get rid of torsion bar suspension you can swap out a newer clip if you do a search you will find some nice DIY posts.
You will need to get a new master cylinder and booster ( if you want power brakes) . Make sure you get the correct one disc/drum or disc/disc If you have a stick with the hydraulic clutch Captain Fab has a nice kit that will let you keep it and mount your master cylinder.
You need a proportioning valve and will have to make new brake lines.
Check the FAQ section there is a ton of info on disc swaps.
Have fun

Thanks for the reply. This is the plan right here. Stick with torsions, dropped spindle disc brake kit, booster/master, all new ball joints, steering, etc...
