Question Headlight switch knob! How do I get it off?

I don't want to break it, but it just seems like I just need to really yank on it or something. Theres no set screw like the wiper knob has. Is there a secret?

There is a button on the top of it behind the dash. Push it and pull it out....

yeah, the little thing on top that when you see it you think "that looks like a button, but i dont want to push it i might break it, and theres no way they put a "button" to take off this switch, too obvious"
