Thermo-King eh?
They still make "refers" (refigriation units for semi traliers). Usually powered by a small 3-4 cylinder diesel engine. Didn't know they ever made auto AC though. That unit looks like it might get in the way though.....does it work?

Don't know if it works or not, haven't tried it. Too lazy to replace the belt.

No belt usually = no work! My dads '64 C-10 had a thermo king in it, it had round eyeball vent though. Worked GOOOOD. Ice cold in the cab. Had that same York compressor too. Ahhh the good ol' days of horsepower and CFC's.

interesting looking compressor. id replace the belt and try it. that unit could use some cleaning

make sure that compressor has oil in it. That style isn't lubed by the refrigerant like most are. They make great air compressors (if you ever run bags)
