Re: Sm420

Are you looking for one to just install and go? I have a couple SM420's but shipping that far would be expensive. Unless maybe Norm is coming this way sometime soon.

i have one that i took off the rear brake. im trying to make it work for my build. i bought the correct backing plate to take the fixed yoke, i just need the yoke and would like to swith the top cover that doesnt have the rod sticking out the side where the brake lever swivel is. i been asking around for the corret yoke without luck. so i thought i could buy the whole thing and pick parts off that i need. if you could take the parts off one of yours id pay for your time/parts/shipping. if not i could live with the trans i have its just kinda looks funny with the rod sticking off that goes nowhere.

Re: Sm420

Let me go and take a look in my storage area this weekend and see what it will take to get one out and to my shop so I can tear it apart.

SM420 off a 66 GMC 4WD. First picture somewhere under the snow in that region. I wanted it for the 4SPD reverse lamp setup , yes , with switch. Your parts available first thaw....lol

No longer Long Haul. Working locally operating a Redi Mix truck. My 63's threaten to sell themselves unless I started back working on them.

That's good that you get to stay home and do things that you want to do.
