Need the later model ring that is ribbed, or mabe you would say the inside and outside of the ring has a rolled edge.
The older style is flat with a rolled inside edge.

Original application would be 6cyl or 4wd, shifter exits floor in flat portion of hump. V8 2wd shifter exits in forward portion of hump and has an angled boot and ring.

I have these two, both have been glass beaded & painted, excellent condition !
