GTS61 Registered User Join Date: Mar 2015 Location: Jacksonville, Florida Posts: 66	New battery and new alternator-DEAD I have a 1961 GMC pickup with a 305 V6. I installed a new battery and a new alternator. Started it up and watched my volt gauge go from 12 to 0. Anyone have any idea’s why this would happen? Thanks a lot!!
