WTB: Blazer & Suburban vinyl rear seat belt covers

Need to source some original vinyl seat belt hardware covers used on Blazer and Suburban rear seats. See example pic below - the two center belts get a boot-shaped almost 90 degree bent cover and the L & R sides get little slip on ones I have.

I need two of these 90 degree like covers for the center belts - don't matter what color. Anyone got some to sell?

Re: WTB: Blazer & Suburban vinyl rear seat belt covers

so, looks like in Blazers and Jimmys, there are 4 of these 90 degree plastic seat belt boots - two between the buckets and two behind the rear seat.

I have sourced one single from Maddkidd and now need 3 more. can be any color. Let me know what you guys have?

I have these. I am not sure I want to sell them. I have had them for years. I believe this style "boots" were used on some GM cars of the late 1960's. If I remember correctly they were used to cover the seat belt bolts in the back seat area of cars that had bucket seats. FWIW

Re: WTB: Blazer & Suburban vinyl rear seat belt covers

Here are examples of complete rubber boot sets for K5 rear seats that used two rear mounting brackets with the central belt attachment points at the floor pan: http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...76&postcount=4 but I've seen some angled examples that do not have a central hole to access the bolt.

Pete you prove me wrong again lol. I've torn quite a few 72's a part and none had them. Amazing what disappears over the years.

Kinda weird to have the holes. Here is a 72 burb front seat cover that had two belts in it.

Hello Steve, as an FYI these seat belt boots were not used in the front on a blazer/jimmy, I have only found them installed on the rear seat belts on the K/5's. Not sure if you noticed or not, but the pictures of the two K/5 rear seat belt boot setups that Pete posted the link to are our old pics, the pictured green 4 piece setup is the one that I mentioned still having in storage last week when you had originally asked. Since you had asked first, I will offer that green 4 piece set to you at $50.+ ship., if you should pass I will then offer them to NorthernMatthew per his recent communication. Let me know, Mel

Check out the below rear 72 blazer seat pictures from or old saved files on this same subject.

Your boots do not look like anything that we have found in the blazers or suburbans.

We have found the rear angled seat belt cover boots both ways, some with the bolt holes and some without.

Re: WTB: Blazer & Suburban vinyl rear seat belt covers

Note the vinyl cover installed up front on a Flint built Highlander survivor in possession of a member when photo taken. This was an unmolested Blazer and the pic supports factory use up front in at least this case but it could be the line was short at that moment so a rear belt was used. The metal end appears flat not angled despite being covered.

EDIT: See the "rear" carpet strip in use up front...

Re: WTB: Blazer & Suburban vinyl rear seat belt covers

In comparison here's another survivor Highlander this one St Louis built in possession of that same member at time of this photo. Pic shows the plastic sleeve I'm accustomed to seeing for the pass side female belt in K5s. Note the angle of the metal end at the face (white factory painted face seen with St Louis Highlanders).

EDIT: See the "rear" carpet strip in use up front...
