Just when I thought I had enough...
I know I am not the only one who has said “I am done buying pickups. I need to get rid of some of the ones I have now.” Etc etc...Well here we are. I’ve got my 64 c20 that I don’t drive enough, a 74 half ton sitting in the shed, a 71 Cheyenne big block at the shop, and about 15-20 parts trucks and other projects out at the pasture. I told myself no more until I clean it up a bit until these two came along. 1972 factory 4 wheel drive, PS, PB, all original and complete minus bed. And a running and driving 69 3/4 ton with it. Also scored a set of 17.5” 6-lug runs too. I think I did alright at 1,000 bucks for it all. But definitely didn’t need more projects. I’ll put the grille and radiator support back in the four wheel drive and get it running then who knows what I’ll do with it. Then probably flip the 3/4 ton. At what point do we call it an addiction.....

Re: Just when I thought I had enough...
Whenever I say I'm done, I find one at a price that makes me say, just one more! I doubt any of us could say no thanks to the deal you just did.

Someday I’ll restore one...at least I hope. I remember when my dad restores his 62 impala convertible, took 14 years but him and my mother also had to deal with us seven boys lol

Re: Just when I thought I had enough...
This is the way I look at it...My hobbies become addictions when...
I'm too old (physically incapable) to do the work, I'm to financially strapped to afford the hobby, I'm lacking the time because of other needs or wants get in the way, I've run out of room for the collection, There becomes waste due to overindulgence, I get too smart to want to continue in the activity (bad habits come to mind), and when I've reached a talent limit and I give up because I need to be proud of my abilities and have overstreched my limits. UNTIL THEN I'm in it for the long haul. Once I reach one of the above roadblocks...I consider quiting and dealing with the withdrawls. Sometimes it's a race to finish the project (whatever it is) before the roadblock is hit. Kepp up the good fight and let the bad ones go. I do live vicariously through you folks that find all those great trucks that need the love I wish I could give, so don't stop posting your great field finds. I wish a restomod 67 K20 short step with disc brakes, 400 ci, manual trans, AC, mild lift, and a moon visor was in my future, but I have little of the above list left. I will have to be happy with my small collection of two cars and two trucks.

Re: Just when I thought I had enough...
Very nice find! I've been trying to get a decent K20 but everyone wants gold prices for an empty rusted hull around here.
