I'll take this one pending a shipping quote to 70739. Just to make sure, it's for the drivers side?

Thanks!

Re: nos and rare for sale

howdy, interested in the darker fawn armrest on the left in your picture and the paperwork..

couple questions if you know;

is this a kit to install an armrest where there isn't one currently?

does it include the nutclips and screws? or do you have some for sale?

do you know if the instructions provide info to locate and install armrest in a non-armrest door panel?

reason I ask, my 65 has an armrest in the driver's side only, the passenger side is smooth..

I will buy this armrest if I can install it in the original door panel without butchering it.. lol

from my recollection, the two door panels in my truck are the same except for the holes and the nutclips in the driver's side door frame..

can you verify?

thank you!

the template is to line up the holes to be drilled on the passenger door. the arm rest i have only is the arm rest, template and original box. i know captured nuts and screws will need to be installed to hold arm rest, i will look into the needed work for the captured nuts. i will look at another armrest i have to see what hardware is provided.

Re: nos and rare for sale

Is the remaining arm rest the correct color fawn for 1966, and include installation parts for right door.
I will take it.

thank you for your help, I will take the darker fawn armrest on the left pictured above..

please send total with shipping to 92683 and your preferred payment method..

I am going to install this so please send a good copy of the installation paperwork if someone else wants the original..

I'll share what another great member told me last night.. the 64-66 passenger door should have the cutouts for the cage nuts.. the installation instructions will show the location of the through holes that need to be cut in the door panel.. only have to drill those out, install cage nuts and screws.. seems like it was common for these models to not have passenger armrests [maybe none from the factory?]

I found the cage nuts here;
https://www.classicparts.com/1960-66...ctinfo/19-691/

and the screws here;
http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cbe/full.aspx?Page=51

maybe other places where both can be purchased together if good used or NOS are not available..

I prefer OEM good used or NOS but that might be a tall order so at least there's a solution for me and the other potential buyer above..

thank you!

thank you for the installation info. nos and pairs of nos, be it a matched set i.e right and left or just two of the same are harder to get and more costly. Yet I still keep looking for parts!!!

They both look correct to me, but one is kinda shinier then the other. Maybe I can take another members idea, if you buy this item and are unhappy ship it back for a refund...

Re: nos and rare for sale

I will secure the mounting template with backing and maybe laminate it cuz it’s kinda crappy. So one buyer will have the copy and one buyer will have the original just made more sturdy. I will look for hardware for both arm rest. The arm rest is nos, yet the hardware may not as it didnt come with this item when I got them.

The power steering pulley if correct for 64 to 66, 292, C 10 or 20. I will take it. A very rare find!
Could not read the casting number.

How did you find it, curious?
