Niggling Details

Note to self:

After removing negative battery cable from manifold, be sure to tighten bolt after loosely threading the bolt in. Otherwise, your truck will refuse to start when the cable loosens up. Then, you won't find it till you've asked someone to give you a jump, and he will look at you like you're a 5-year-old when he discovers it, and you'll feel like a complete idiot.

I have had that same sticky note (unforunately more than once). Once was even the clamp on the negative terminal.

I had that happen back when i first bought my truck....went to the store, came back to the truck within 5 minutes, and it wouldn't crank. Battery cable was loose....i looked like an idiot when i asked a guy to give me a jump and he saw that my cable was loose
