Re: 22”in GM Transport Rims

Transport/transit rims are spare rims for new Escalade/Tahoe or Suburban. They are 22x9. I was looking at 20x9 Steelies from Detroit Steel Wheels for my 72 Jimmy. At $320 for the rim and extra for powder coat and caps, I was looking for a cheaper option. Thought these might work???

Re: 22”in GM Transport Rims

The transport wheels are 22x9 but they have 6” of backspacing.
I would think the Detroit Steel Wheels would offer better backspacing options.
Plus they sell 22” wheels also.

Re: 22”in GM Transport Rims

Transport wheels may also not have a large enough opening for the front hubs to fit through.
