Quiksteel
Who has used Quiksteel? Each time I go to the parts store I think I see this stuff on the counter every time and every time I wonder if I should get some.
It says it hardens like metal and can be ground down, filed and drilled and tapped.

Re: Quiksteel
I have used it and it does work well. I believe it's an epoxy. I don't know if I would used it on any application with stress points. I have used it to repair some hard plastic pieces and as a filler.

Re: Quiksteel
It looks like they have a whole list of products for varius applications. http://www.quiksteel.com/
I've seen it in the aisle with the sealers and adhesives but haven't had the need for it yet. Never say never though as there times when you do need such a fix even if it is a temporary fix. I see that they show gas tank repair/sealer for both metal and plastic tanks so that might be one to stick in the memory bank as it might get one of us or a traveling buddy safely on the road in a damaged tank situation. The pastic repair might be interesting for steering wheels and other plastic pieces such as something we might modify to work in our interiors.
