Front outer bumper brackets

$17 each, shipping is $18 for up to 6 or so that I think will fit in a large flat rate box.

From left to right, 67-70 chev and all years GMC 4wd, 71-2 chev 2wd, 68-70 chev and all years GMC 2wd.

Re: Front outer bumper brackets

Randy do you know the difference between 2wd & 4wd on the 71-72? Maybe something that won’t matter for what I’m doing

4wd are shorter because they mount at the core support mount and they have a relief to clear the bumper mounted turn signal lamps.

Re: Front outer bumper brackets

You will also note the 4wd brackets thin down at the end where they mount to the core support/spring mount so that they fit inside of it. The relief on a 71-2 bracket is a corner sort of shape bend in the bracket, I think the upper surface.

I’ll see if I can find some online comparisons shots since I’m running aftermarket front brackets for the spring/core support mount.
Hey randy I found a picture of when I had the mounts on the other frame, putting them on the 2wd 157” chassis. Not familiar with the clearance on the 2wd body mount. But if you think they’ll fit or with a little clearancing. I’ll take a pair of 71-72

Re: Front outer bumper brackets

I have a recent thread on the 67-72 message board that breaks down all the differences and applications on front outer brackets to be used as a guide.

Hey Randy, when you get a chance why don't you edit mention of the 4wd brackets you didn't mean to list? Thanks. I think it will save you from hassling with those who don't read through threads... which seems to be most.
