Transfer case torque bracket

Hey guys! I am getting ready to get the drive train in my 67 K10 and I am trying to figure out if I should install a transfer case torque bracket. I have heard pro's and cons about them. Looking for some insight from other owners. Thanks!

Automatic trans---no. Manual Trans --go for it

Thanks, there wasn't one on it originally with the 4 speed, switched to an automatic.
