Brown and white 24 gauge wire/ign switch
I just took my switch down to see why I have no wipers and maybe no accessory (key turned to the left) power. I found a small brown and white wire with no spade female connector, just a bare wire hanging there. I think that it may have been tucked under the spade connector for the big brown wire that connects to the outside spade on the back of the switch.
I'm thinking of just soldering it to the brown wire. But i'd like to know the correct position for this guy. I can't figure out the wiring diagrams. I wish I had a clear picture of the switch with what goes where. Is there such a picture somewhere? Thanks, Brian Edit: I see this explained by VetteVet here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=735184 So i guess the small brown and white should be soldered. I have a stock external regulator and HEI ignition if this matters.

Re: Brown and white 24 gauge wire/ign switch
OK, got it. Looks like the brown and white wire pulled out of the connector crimp. Now reattached.
However the wipers still don't work and i recall that they stopped working the last time I replaced this switch some years ago ( very little rain here last 5-6 years). Time to look into this because we are actually having a winter this year.
