Cool, thanks for posting.
This is a good example for those who wonder how well reproduction bodies fit: "It is one of Dynacorn’s Chevy 3100 Series reproduction bodies, which carries its own vehicle identification number."

Re: FYI E-Rod on EBay
Outside of getting rid of the worlds ugliest wheels and hoping that a stock Chevy grill can be bolted in without too many issues it isn't a bad truck. No doubt one that you can jump in and take off for anywhere you have your mind set to go without a worry.

Re: FYI E-Rod on EBay
I was going to look at the E-Rod truck on EBay. I got a message that the auction had ended but here was a suggestion for something similar, and got this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-Chevro...d=192845528392.

Wow the similarities are startlingly, like twins. Don’t wait to long to buy that gem.

Re: FYI E-Rod on EBay
You know, the feeling I had upon realizing that "something similar" is nowhere near the original is much like like the feeling I got upon receiving my first paycheck as a mechanic after graduating Automotive college and being shown what I owed the school!

Re: FYI E-Rod on EBay
That red truck still has a six cylinder engine and appears to have been a factory automatic judging from the brake pedal. Power glide? I was hoping to get a look at the shift column but it's not shown.
