From 6 to 8

I am finally getting serious to replace the six as I think I have a donor 350. Will there be any clearance issues mating it to the 4 speed that is in there? Eventually I would change that to a TH350, after the son gets more familiar with changing gears.

Re: From 6 to 8

Any small block will bolt right into the exact same location as a 230/250 I6 including the engine mounts.. This is where the factory put them. The one exception is the 292 I6. The passenger side engine mount bracket will need to be changed.
