Adding reverse lights to 65 fleetside

I got a pair of new reverse lights for a 66 fleetside to put them on my 65 fleetside. Does anyone have instructions, templates, tips, suggestions for how to drill the holes to mount them?

I think I made and posted a template.
There's a thread.
I'll see if I can find it.

Here you go.
Make sure in your printer settings that 'scale to fit' isn't selected.
And then use a ruler to verify you printed it at the correct scale.

You know I had an original template and now can't find it. Thank you for sharing this.

Could you please measure from the edge of the box to the center of the circle please.

Yes,
I realized I should have put more dimensions on it.
The way it works is you cut out the taillight curve, fold it along the line that says fleetside, and line up the folded edge to the inside corner of the bedside.

Re: Adding reverse lights to 65 fleetside

Yes but if we had the dimension from the fold line to the center of the large circle as well as the .250 holes ,we could draw a template. Old printer gave up months ago. Still working with old laptop , not compatible to new wireless printer.
I've made a template for locating the holes on the passenger side door 60-63. The diagram I provide with measurement is NOT spot on.
Tried to start a thread just for templates.

Just take the file in to Staples/Office Depot, it will be very cheap to print.

Thank you!! I printed it out and the scale is correct. This is fantastic! Man I love this group!

One question: Is there any metal between the 1/4" holes and the big hole?

In case you have not seen it, I was just looking at all your literature at your link and it said this at the top: Photos and videos from Google+ in your Album Archive will be deleted as early as April 2, 2019

It's 2.5 inches from the dashed line to the center of the big hole.

No, the 1/4" hole edge is right on the edge of the large hole.

Yes all my pictures are in Google Photo's. Having a heck of a time getting them to load to this site however and on Facebook for that matter. Picasa was never an issue. Getting old , don't like change.

Here's an overall view of an original 66 that might help.
