Spare tire carrier, under bed type

$125 shipped. Adjuster/tightening bolt is bent, probably could straighten or get one off amazon, extra winged adjustment nut included.

Randy, do these hangers work on a C10 coil frame? Is this everything I would need to hang a spare if I have nothing back there currently?

Yes it will fit your truck and it is complete. I also found a bolt that is a lot straighter than the one in the picture and I will swap out for you.

How much straighter—will the new bolt allow the nut to spin up & down the length of the threads? Can you post a pic?

If so, I’ll take it.

Re: Spare tire carrier, under bed type

Sounds like I overpaid! I saw a couple of WTB ads for these lately but didn’t follow them to see if they ever made a deal. Decided to go ahead and bite on this one when I saw it. Also had a bad experience here where stuff I was discussing got sold out from under me on my own WTB thread. Oh well, a deal is a deal!

I think it’s a great buy...Facebook is a terrible place to sell parts, not enough exposure. And I have never seen one that was complete. They are always missing something. That one has the correct bolts and slotted locking nuts and is in great shape.

I’m gonna buy a couple on Facebook and sell them here. I just got on Facebook this week.

Re: Spare tire carrier, under bed type

We are very truck-rich here in Washington state too so the local prices have always been lower.

I don't have luck selling on FB but that doesn't mean I'm asking to much. I had a couple vintage mini bikes on there, not much local interest. A guy from NJ drove 6 hours to buy all three mini bikes I had...

Agreed and I didn’t mention that.
Price doesn’t necessarily sell. Need creates a market and the price is dependent on supply and other factors such a convenience and condition. I think people on here buy for convenience, trust in the sellers and sellers knowledge. Those things create a lot of value for buyers.
