18x8 Torq Thrust question

I have a 1973 stepside and was wondering if anyone had info on if 18x8 with 4.5 bs Torq thrusts will work on the truck? Also, what size tires would be suitable? Truck has a CPP 4.5/5 drop. Thanks!

Re: 18x8 Torq Thrust question

Front or rear? They'll fit, but may not fill up the rear fenders well enough depending which tire you go with.

Re: 18x8 Torq Thrust question

I'm running 8.5 with the same back spacing on the front and the rear I put a 1 1/2 spacer on the rear ones brings them right to edge of the bed lip. Did this until I buy new rims these were already on the truck

Re: 18x8 Torq Thrust question

I have 17x8's on my truck. Watch the size of the hub hole vs your front rotors. One set of aftermarket rotors was keeping my wheels from seating flush. Replaced with Napa brand. They had a profile that was much closer to original GM rotors and they work fine.
