Wheel & Tire Help

So I'm looking to push the easy button on tires and wheels for the C20.
I have gone to a 5 X 5 (127mm) bolt pattern and installed a 1967 12 bolt Eaton posi rear end.
I want the widest wheel & tire combo for the rear and the same for the front but ok if they're different sizes front to back.
What is the wheel & tire combo that's a sure fit? I would like an 18" wheel max.
Sideways pic sorry

Re: Wheel & Tire Help

Check link below for pictures of both 15 and 18 inch combos.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/suN7jsh4uRJqrdzN8

The black wheel and tire combo:

15x10 4.5 offset all around
295/55-15 rear
265/55-15 front

The US mags combo:

18x9.5 5.25 backspace all four
285/40-18 all four

As long as you stick with 4.5 to 5.25 backspace and no larger than a 10inch wide wheel you should be okay.

I would say a 4.75 or 5.00 backspace is the sweet spot.

I ran both the 285/40 and 295/55 on the rear without any rubbing. With a 4.75 to 5.00 offset you can get by with a 295 or 305 out back.
a 15x10 wheel with a 4.5 backspace will probably hit your tie rod in the front.
a 18x9.5 wheel with a 5.25 backspace may hit your lower control arm at near full lock.

Use the website below to compare sizes and find what sizes are super cheap and what ones are super expensive.
