Hey gang, I have a nice stepside fender for sale. A couple bumps and bruises but really nice. I don't want to ship it so you pick up or I can meet you if your somewhat close. $300

I would like nothing better than to make that truck happy but I just don’t have the time or want to get involved with shipping these bigger parts. It’s just too much of a pita. Maybe you could find someone going south for the winter that would be willing to bring it. We have a lot of snowbirds up here.

I checked greyhound shipping. If the package can, some how, make it to the greyhound station in Atlantic City, new jersey, we can make this work. I'll pay for the ride ($150). like i said before i am committed to making this deal work.

Talk about persistence. You can be committed all up and down at your end and it is still going to take the seller packing that item and "somehow getting it to Greyhound" to make it happen. What the seller said he can't deal with and what you can't do from Miami with any amount of commitment.

I understand the difficulty of finding this fender, I searched for a long time before finding one when I needed it for my K20's restoration. I ended up buying one from Dennis' truck parts in Pinellas Park FL and if I recall correctly he had more than the one that I bought. You may want to check him out if you haven't already. A lot closer to home for you as well.

@dave6672 I went thru him first. He has the entire stepside bed. The sticker price is just as nice as the bed. He won’t sell it in parts. This is a rare item. I can build something different but I won’t be satisfied unless I build the truck how I want it. And the crazy thing is I had one and sold it.

I was trying to get one of these fenders as well, but gave up on it. Maybe someone on here in NJ can assist you with the shipping arrangements (after picking the fender up from the seller) and you can pay them a fee to ship it to you...? Just a suggestion.

Clark, find out exactly what greyhound needs as far as packaging. If I can drop the fender off as it is and don’t have to pack it up or palletize it I will consider it. I can disassemble the spare carrier and box that for regular shipping.

call me when you can. The shipping depends on the weight and dimensions. max weight is 100 pounds. Dimension must be within 29x47x82. This measurements is in inches. Also the Internet (US1 Parts) says the fender weighs 151 pounds. i think this inaccurate.

Speaking to greyhound shipping, there is no such thing as drop off shipping. it would have to be boxed. UPS has shipping and they will box it for you.

As of now, the easiest thing is to take the parcel to a UPS store for weight. they will weigh it and charge me for shipping to 33176. they will bear the responsibility of boxing it up and getting the package to me. i will try to get to a UPS store and see if they can open a ticket or create a shipping label, so all you have to do is drop it off, once you have been paid. thank you for your efforts, Clark.

@72gmguy, Drop n go. I will open an account with UPS or FedEx, which ever is closer or easier for you. Once the account is open, all you will have to do is drop off the fender and FedEx or UPS will bill me. Both companys will bear the responsibility of packing and shipping. All you will need is a label that correspond to my billing info. Thanks again, Clark.
