Re: 1972 Longhorn Bed
Best thing to do when you find one. When you get your truck up and running Get collector car INS. Them beds are hard to come by. I've been looking for a Spare one for my 1968 longhorn

Re: 1972 Longhorn Bed
Hope you can find one. I'm not trying to steal your thread, but might be an option for you also. Mine is in such poor shape I am thinking I will have to buy both new bed sides and then have my body man cut the seams from the old bed sides and cut them in and weld to the new bed sides. Have not discussed with my body man yet, or could the inside and outside seams be remade, and added into the new bed sides. Wondering if anyone had any luck with doing this?

Re: 1972 Longhorn Bed
Thanks for the insurance reminder. I did have coverage, but the damage was covered by the other insurance company and it was not much :-(

Re: 1972 Longhorn Bed
I was also considering the option of repairing this bed. Not sure at this point.
