'61 Cowl Hole

While working under my dash I noticed light coming from a tiny hole above to the right of steering and left of the radio. Its not in the cab but coming from the cowl area where the wipers are. Its to the left of the wiper motor. What is this for because it seems water would just drain right into the cab area?

recommend posting a picture that doesn't have to be downloaded. i.e. pose a virus risk.

Re: '61 Cowl Hole

Sorry for late reply my computer was getting repaired. I don't think it is that because I put a brand new firewall insulation kit in with pins recently. This hole is almost vertical and appears to be in the bottom of the wiper troughs under the grills in front of the windshield. If water gets in the trough it will drip onto carpet...

Re: '61 Cowl Hole

None. its inside the cowl so you wouldn't see it in that picture. It would essentially be behind the word taillight. Great pic BTW very useful.
