East bay CA help needed
hi guys, anyone have any good referrals to help with my suspension? i've got a 69 c10 that I am going to need help with. I am replacing the entire front cross member system with a choppin block, adding Accuair e level management, and adding a bigger step notch in the back. It's already bagged and has a 4 link. I also have GSI raised bed mounts to raise the bed after the notch is put in. any referrals are much appreciated! all the shops I know are months out. and to be honest, I will not be able to do this myself. thanks!!
i'm in Hercules, East bay area near Richmond, CA. so somewhere close would be nice. |

Good to see another East Bayer on here. Where did you end up taking your truck? |

This must be the 'ville thread, I am in Vacaville. I don't know of any shops that do this type of suspension work but would like to know of one. My suspension is in need of some help.

In Vacaville, you might want to give Sal at Vacaville Performance a call. They're located on Callen St.

Re: East bay CA help needed
Sal just installed my new crate engine and I am absolutely thrilled with the job that he did! Drove in with the old motor and drove out a week later with the new motor installed and running great. I just talked with Sal about doing my suspension and am saving my pennies as the new engine emptied my piggy bank!

I was at Sal's shop Friday talking to him and Sam. You've probably seen my truck there, 72 long bed, brown w/gold roof. Sal has been helping me with this project for the last 4 years. Of course there is always more to do on it, if only I could hit the lotto!

Re: East bay CA help needed
Now that I have the new engine and 700r4 from Gene's transmissions installed, this is my daily driver. You'll see it more around town as I want to get some miles on it. Plus it is just fun to drive!
