Howdy neighbor!
Your truck is older than mine. But it's cool to see someone from my neck of the woods. Grew up in McLeod. What shop, if any, are you getting work done? Paint and body, air conditioning, transmission work. Things I cannot do. Just wondering

Nice.
Glad you shared the pictures. I think these 58 and 59 Fleet-side Trucks are Cooler than a 59 Cadillac. If you start a build thread let me know.

Re: Howdy! From N.E. Texas.
I have owned 3 1963 Cadillacs. My favorite year Caddy ever. I'm going to post some pics pretty soon of what i have already done. I am close to rode ready. An i agree, the 58s and 59s are true muscle trucks!

Haven't made a decision just yet on the AC. There is a place in Texarkana that i used to take all auto trans too. Guy did it right the first time. For some reason they have closed up shop. I can do my own standard tranny. Just slow at my age. Yeah, i know where McLeod is for sure. I grew up in T-town. Been traveling the country for the last 20 years. Decided it was time to plant long term roots, so NB it is.

Re: Howdy! From N.E. Texas.
Sounds like you have a plan. I'm now on at least plan C.
Keep finding problems, and trying to make a daily driver. Lots of hands been turning wrenches on these old trucks. Hope to see you around some local shows. June 14 Friday night Atlanta TX show if you are interested.
