Radio delete
I am at a point in my build where I have make a decision on a sound system . I have decided that I want a console to house a modern head unit . However , I still have to deal with the space where the original radio "lived" . So I am looking for a "radio delete kit ". I have seen just the plate to cover up the rectangular slot but no knobs to fill in the holes where the old radio knobs lived ......I know the obvious alternative would be to weld pieces into those vacant spaces , but the dash and interior has already been painted ......any ideas if and where I could find a good looking radio delete kit that would solve my problem and that looks good ....
thank you |

Re: Radio delete
Just use the stock knobs with washers and a screw behind to hold them. Anything else will look jury rigged.

Re: Radio delete
find a nice narrow "chevrolet" chrome trim script, mount it to a backer, and mount that in the old radio location.
