69-72 style wheel smoothed with age

Probably no way to do it, but I have a black 69-72 style wheel that is really smooth on the upper half that used to be textured. I wonder if there is a way to bring that back? Anyone know of a company that does something like that?

The wheel is pristine beyond the smooth look. Zero cracking or weirdness.

Hmmm... Yo no se. But I bet it could be artfully done. If there was away to spray that effect you could mask it up and shoot. There used to be a leather grain spray like that. It seems all I find is pebble grain now. I googled spray on leather grain and there may be something there. Here are a couple of the first things that came up

I never even considered it like that. Interesting ideas. I was thinking I would have to preserve the black color, but I supposed you could just repaint it black.

Yeah, that opens up doors. I wonder if there is no easy product that looks right, an artistic person could duplicate it with an engraving or Dremmel tool. It can be sanded and painted after engraving the grain
