Rear Sport Bumper Question

This is an aftermarket Sport Bumper. What are these 2 holes at the lower edge for? There's one on each side. Thanks...……..

Re: Rear Sport Bumper Question

Probably the holes the chrome plating company uses to dip it. I believe factory ones, front and rear, have those holes as well.

Re: Rear Sport Bumper Question

I have the sport bumper on my 68 along with the gravel shields. The holes are not used for the gravel shields.

Nothing bolts to the holes in question...There are only 4 bolts that attach the sport bumper to the four brackets, two on each frame rail. The gravel guards do bolt to the brackets.

Re: Rear Sport Bumper Question

Hard to really see it here on my phone but the hole on the bottom looks like it might have been for the Jack.
