fuel tank selector switch?

Based on Hatzie's write-up, the 73-80 trucks used a 5-pin DPDT switch. Hatzie mentioned that some switches you buy would potentially include the sixth pin, but it needs to be removed for a stock application.

I would like to use that switch in a non-stock situation, and want all six pins. Does anyone know of a DPDT rocker switch that will fit right into these trucks that is a full six-pin DPDT?

Re: fuel tank selector switch?

Do you have a rectangular hole in the dash already?

If you're retrofitting I'd use a toggle switch. A 1/2" round hole is easier to make than a rectangular hole that's properly aligned with the dash.

Re: fuel tank selector switch?

I already have the factory switch hole in the dash.

It appears the switch from a Ford OBS truck will do exactly what I want. I may have to reshape the hole a little.
