Process to painting a ttone cab?

About to paint my cab. What are your steps? Do I tape off all the outside and just do the inside first? Tape off the white top areas and paint the entire cab? Paint the entire cab and not worry about getting color on the white area and then scuff the top area a few days later to paint the white? Thanks

Re: Process to painting a ttone cab?

Paint inside 1st . Mask off the front and rear windows. Although shooting the dash from the outside helps....Use the search bar, look for 2 tone painting, order etc. After the inside, mask off the lower cab and shoot the roof next, I think the center color...white on mine got painted, then masked off the white on the center of the trim holes, then shoot the main color...How ever you do it try and keep the overspray and dust off the un painted parts.
