stupid question but have to ask
so im looking at getting another suburban.
im in jersey was going to head to maryland to get an 87- not a big fan of bench seats. the big arse side mirror with 3 metal rails going into door. and the color of interior. aside from that, i like the truck. found one in pa that im going to see tomorrow. 90. question i have is. the couple I've owned and almost all I've ever looked at, had the chrome looking normal side mirrors. there is one in jersey 91 and the one im going to look at tomorrow 91- i notice that the mirrors look real funny/weird. im guessing you folks know what im talking about. so the question is, are they easy to change to the normal looking mirrors?? these things almost look like they are part of the glass or something. thanks |

Re: stupid question but have to ask
In 91 GM used the same style mirror that they ultimately started using on there 1994 trucks. To answer your question yes you can replace them, but you will have to drill new holes for the mirrors you want to use.
