Looking for gas tank carpet information

A while back I bought some original gas tank carpet. I’m in the process of redoing my interior and I need to start thinking about installing this.

I’m mainly looking for screw locations / positions. Measurements and photos would be great. Can anyone out there with this set up help me?

Re: Looking for gas tank carpet information

Here's the best picture I have of mine and the assembly manual page. The picture appears to have a couple screws in place, and I think shows 7 of the holes.

Re: Looking for gas tank carpet information

I had saved this picture from one of the cabs I cut up...a few extra holes are shown, but the 6 holes on the left are factory spots. Sorry, no measurements.

Give me a day or two and i will get you the measurments. I'm thinking i will tape a fabric measuring tape starting at the door jam and then get u the correct spacingfor the holes that way.i have factory k10 bucket seat truck that the carpet is out of so should be fairly easy

SAVE THE WASHERS THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH REPROS

I tossed my whole carpet because it was moldy and saw that replacements were available, but when it arrived it was just a sheet of carpet, non-molded, no copper rivets...

Ya, I have had a few sets thru the years and sold a couple on this site. I really wish I had held on to them as I have a few sets of buckets and plan on upgrading a couple trucks. Luckily I was smart enough to save the ones from my current truck. I used to grumble at the guys that would not sale there good parts and now I'm one of those guys.

Re: Looking for gas tank carpet information

Would it be a bad/good idea to bolt the carpet in with the gas tank?

Re: Looking for gas tank carpet information

That would be great. It does need to be exact, just close. I’d also like a dimension for how high they sit. Maybe measure up from the lip or down from the window. Once again, thank you.
