Need feed back

Hey everyone I posted this over in the paint and bodywork section with little response. I’m looking for feed back from people who have used a semi gloss paint. I’m wondering how it’s holding up over the years light colors vs dark colors? Fading? Spraying experience? Single stage? BC w/ flattened CC? Any feed back at all is appreciated.

Thanks, Jan

Re: Need feed back

I researched this a bunch. There's tons of information on this subject on the HAMB. Especially knowledgeable on the subject is a user named (appropriately) HotRodPrimer.

The consensus I got was that the specialty paints, made for topcoating, were very good, ie John Deere Blitz Black, Hot Rod Flatz, and Kirker Hot Rod Satin. Each has their staunch proponents.
