POL Sway bars 1960-1962
Anyone install the POL swaybars onto a 1960 through 62 front and rear suspension?
The front - do I need to install the spacers between the brackets and the frame? They have goofy brackets for the rear end links as well. I want to see how they look installed. And any other tips welcomed.

Re: POL Sway bars 1960-1962
I have not but make sure the rear bar is actually for a 62. I have seen many companies list 63-66 sway bars as if they fit a 62. Let us know if it fits. I have been looking a long time for one that will actually fit on a 62. When I ordered a sway bar for a 77 c10 that was lowered 2 inches in the front I needed the spacers.

Re: POL Sway bars 1960-1962
I used POL rear sway bar on my 62. The install was pretty straight forward. I ordered the "lowered" kit but the bolts were still to long so i had to replace the bolts and eliminate the spacer. Im happy with the quality and performance.

Re: POL Sway bars 1960-1962
I used to have one on a '61, but wasn't happy about having something straddling my trailing arms so close to the ground. I scrapped that thing, thinking i would get a junkyard version that more closely followed the rear end, but after driving without it for a while I never even missed it so I just stuck with the front end only.

Sway bar is more fun, it actually fits in the truck as compared to a sub. And you can find a sub on craigslist.

Nice!! So you have to drill into the lower control arm? Any chance you can post a close up picture of the LCA mount please ?

Re: POL Sway bars 1960-1962
I am in the middle of installing a rear sway bar and am wondering how much should I torque down the long bolts with the bushings.
