Frame questions

If you have a coil spring frame for a donor, is it a big deal to convert a leaf spring frame over? How much different is a 1/2 ton frame than a 3/4? (besides the suspension) I'm not happy with my leaf spring ride, and I like the ease of lowering a coil spring truck. thanks, Larry

try the search

Larry, I haven't done the swap, but there has been lots of discussion about it. Did you try the "search" function? I typed in "leaf to coil" and got 8 pages (at least) of threads that had those key words. There has to be something in there to help.

good luck, Scott

by the way, join the Washington club. Maybe one of the other guys can help. See the board meet page for info.
