A new “15k-Mile 1991 Chevrolet Suburban 4×4” on BAT. FYI, I have no interest in the sale, just letting folks know it’s out there for sale.

“1991 Chevrolet Suburban was purchased new from Harlow Chevrolet in Encinitas, California by comedian Red Skelton for use on his Rancho Mirage estate. After his passing the truck was owned by his wife, Lothian, until 2016 when it was acquired by a local collector. The selling dealer acquired it in early 2019. The truck is finished in Mojave Beige and Sunset Gold over a saddle tan interior and features more than $8k in optional equipment. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 350ci V8 backed by an automatic transmission, two-speed transfer case, and 4.10:1 axles. This Suburban is offered by the selling dealer with documentation from new, the window sticker, a clean AutoCheck report, and a clean California title."

Dang! Too bad I don't have the money right now

Pretty much just like the one I have except mine is only a half ton with 700R4, and of course a lot more miles and wear and tear and rust.

Amazing.....91' with the one year only 4L80 tranny.

I'd put the factory wheels back on. Looks better in my opinion. Time capsule!

Almost but not quite. It wouldn't look that good after we had it for 10 years.

Less than three hours left and it's only up to $21,841. I can't believe that it's going that cheap especially with the history. Considering the price of new ones now, that's just cheap transportation. And it's a 3/4 ton with the 4L80e and the barn doors!

We are actually looking for a pickup instead of another Suburban.

I considered it. Just can't justify another set of wheels to feed. I'm wondering how much of that price was the celebrity factor? 5K?
