Truck Show yesterday

In honor of Dad, I took the pickups to a truck show yesterday. RIP Sandman.

Re: Truck Show yesterday

Good looking fleet you have there. I guess you got your good taste in trucks from your Dad.

Re: Truck Show yesterday

Nice looking trucks you have there, I take it one of them was Dad's. I had a new one that I ordered back in 1976, it was the same color blue, short box 4 wheeler, I believe the same guy I sold it to still has it. I lost my Dad 20 years ago this month on Father's Day, still miss him everyday. Those of you that are lucky enough to still have Dad, enjoy him while you can.

Re: Truck Show yesterday

Dad was a pro trucker all of his life. Drove the big rigs, loved Diamond T's, KW's and Petes.

My trucks are tamer and easier to drive.

I also lost Dad on Father's Day, 1987.

Re: Truck Show yesterday

It kinda makes a person wonder about things every year when Fathers day rolls around. I built a ford tractor about 25 years ago with a 60HP Flathead in it. Dad would come over to check on it's progress every so often. One day he says, why are you putting that 60HP in there, I had one once in a 37 coupe and the stop light would change 3 times before you could get through it.

Re: Truck Show yesterday

So true about what you said about not taking your fathers life for granted. Father's Day for me has always been a bittersweet holiday.
By the way, I'm an old Flathead Ford guy and I love your old "N"!
