anybody ever do this

I have a chance to get a 72 blazer 4wd rolling chassis anybody ever put a truck cab on one and make a shorty bed?

I have seen two of them. There was a featured Blazer in Classic Trucks that was converted to a pickup without a separate bed...ie no bed line. It was really sweeet! I have seen a couple of drag trucks done that way to get better weight transfer.

X-member fast68 was doing this before he got bored and chopped the truck up. Put the cab on there and I think he was gonna do a super short flat bed as a tem deal. (He was calling it his SS...Super Short)
A step ide bed would be easy to chop down to the required length since there are no body lines to worry about.

there is a yellow short short step in westbank, its awesome-only seen it a couple times though
