What psi are you guys running your tires at?
On my 255/55 17's, I'm currently running them at 25psi (cold) all around...should I raise it to 30psi? 35psi? The entire weight of my truck with a FULL tank of gas is 3620 and the load rating for each TIRE is 1875lbs...so..

32-34 is standard. Running it at 25 can cause loss of fuel economy and can cause the tire to overheat.

I shall raise them up to 32psi then...see if I can't score 12mpg...of course, at that higher tire pressure it's gonna be HARD to get traction AT ALL!

the pressure inprinted on the side wall is the maximum pressure for the tire. i wouldn't use this pressure unless you are at the maximum load rating of the tire also

Right around 32-35 for me most of the time. I know what you mean about traction........my 94 Z28 has pretty much every bolt on that can be done to it, 6 speed trans, radial tires and 4.10 gears......my best 60' was a 2.2 lol. My 87 GN I had had a best 60' of 1.79 on ET Streets and about 5-7 lbs of boost at launch.

I would kinda doubt it with radials and that much power and 4.10 gears. I thought about putting some et streets on it but the weak link (rear end) would show up then I am sure and I do not have the money for a good 12 bolt right now lol. The car ran a 13.2 witha 60' of 2.2 but the MPH was 107 so it was coming on strong once it did hook. This was also on a 100+ degree day. It should be a solid mid 12 car with some decent tires. If I ever get the money for the 12 bolt it will definitely get a little giggle gas.

Actually Dave I have only had the Z28 to the track once so far. I went to SLP customer appreciation day back in March (I think it was) held at Texas Motorplex. Lets just say track conditions were not optimum that day. Pretty chilly and windy........I think with some practice launching it I could get some 1.9's anyway on radials. The GN would not hold any more than 5-6 lbs of boost off the line. Previous owner of it had went a 7.7 in the 1/8th......my best with a leaky header was a 8.5ish......plus I outweighed previous owner by 100 lbs probably so theres a .10 loss right there. It used to belong to a guy who worked for Bennett Racing in Alabama. I bought it from the guy who got it from him. I thought it was kinda odd someone like Bennett racing employee having something besides a Mudstain.
