Bushwacker Cut out flares....?

Anyone using these on a '73 and up Blazer and what size tires can be fitted before a lift is needed?

Thanks!

33\12.5 on a 10inch wide wheel and they wont rub. You can fit 35's on a 8inch wheel but they will rub slightly.

I'd like a little more info on these as well. I will have a 4" lift though, so that means I should be able to run 35's on a 15x10 wheel with no problems at all?

It depends on who's lift it is. if its a Superlift 4inch then you could run a 35 on a 8inch wheel. Most all other lift manufactures 4inch kit only clear 33inch tires.

What difference does it make if its a different kind of lift? 4" is 4" isn't it? Unless the superlifts actually lift more than 4" I have a Rough Country all spring lift...

Different lift manufactures have different heights and spring rates. Superlift has extra leaves for better ride quality so naturally they sit a little higher. Rancho gets there ride from a flatter spring pack so it will ride better but doesn't clear anything over a 33inch tire. Skyjacker has their softride springs which does sit high but over a period of 6months to a year will sag. Even faster if you have a heavy bumper, or a winch, or a big block, ect. Also another thing is tire size. ALL manufactures tires are a diffrent size from one another. A 35inch BFG mud terrain measures out at 34inches (on a 10 inch wheel). Take the new super swamper IROC's......Their 36inch measures out at a true 36inches. I know.....It gets confusing. Working where I do I see what works and what does'nt. Hope that cleared some confusion up.

cut outs for a 78 blazer. What would really be nice is a template so i can determine weather or not they are going to cover my rust problem or not first. But if you can get me a screamin deal i'll just buy em.

Price for all four is $225.00 plus shipping. Retail is $350.00-380.00. Alf4444....Im going down to bushwacker tomorrow to pick some flares up. If you want I can measure the length so youll know if it will cover your rust. Let me know.

1tonswb, welcome to the board. I see that you are in Oregon as well. What area are you in and where do you work at?

I would have to disagree though about the Skyjacker lift sagging. Come this Febuary, I will have had my Skyjacker SoftRide lift installed for 2 years and I'm running a big block in my truck. Then again, maybe I just got lucky and got one that doesn't sag.

Good to see another member that lives in Oregon. I live in portland. As far as your springs........you got a good set. I dont know how many springs Ive pulled out of our warehouse and flipped them upside down and they have been a inch difference in height. Seems were replacing springs all the time because of sagging. The manufactures are pretty good at replacing their defected springs so that makes it easier on all of us. Im glad that your happy with your springs and that you havent had any problems.

Thanks 1ton, it's a project, never ending I might add!

I'm also glad I happened to get a good set, I would be pissed if I had to pull them and swap them out with replacements.
