69 Rebuild

My brother and I have started a project on a 69 c10 that we were able to get for free. The only draw back is that it needs almost everything! It had been sitting in a field for around 20 years.

Here is the truck when we first got it.

Pulling the old rusted out cab off

Power washing some of the old junk off

Found an air cab to work with. Needs a lot of rust work but is better than the original.

Getting the cab in the shop to fix rust and prep for paint (eventually!)

We now have a decent bed to work with that has been somewhat protected with this camper top

Old camper permit sticker from 1973 still holding on

Re: 69 Rebuild

The new cab has factory AC. Not a lot of folks use the factory AC, they go aftermarket. I planto use the factory setup on my 67 and 68.........

Re: 69 Rebuild

Looking forward to seeing the progress. That’s a pretty sweet camper top too! Love the old aluminum ones with the louvered windows that open.
