Slip On Universal Seat Cover recommendations?
Did some searching, mostly come up with info about reupholstering seats.
My Suburban has had the seats redone at some point. They are pretty decent and I'd like them to stay that way. I have two little kids that are hard on car interiors, and the main point of this suburban is 'family fun' outings. Plus they can get pretty hot in the sun. I'd like some basic slip on seat covers to protect the seats. I'm fine with the 'saddle blanket' type, or another basic style. It seems like all the higher end seat covers are custom for more modern vehicles. Amazon has some, but its hard to tell the quality. Plus many don't list if they completely cover the back of the bench seat, as that isn't necessary in a truck cover. Any proven winners for the suburban guys? My front is a full low back bench. The rear is from something else and is a full length bench split on the door side. Thanks! |

Re: Slip On Universal Seat Cover recommendations?
There is another thread about this within the past couple months. I got mine from seat covers unlimited. It was like $40. I removed the seat to install it so I could get it nice and tight and not have it falling off or moving around on me. Only had it on about 4 months, so not really a test of time yet.

Re: Slip On Universal Seat Cover recommendations?
Thanks I missed that.
One reason I asked over here, is most of the 'truck' covers don't seem to fully cover the back of the bench since its not visible in trucks. Did the ones you got fully cover the back of the bench? Did you get it through the seatcoversunlimited.com site? Looks like everything there is $200 or more. I'm not opposed to spending some money, but that's a lot more than the $40 you mentioned. Thanks!
