CPP, good or bad?

I didn't know where to post this...

I've placed a pretty large order with them and I was researching some engine mounts/pedestals and got to reading some old threads with a whole lot of negative stuff being said about them. I've already got one item from them and talked to them on the phone a couple times, they've been helpful so far. What I've already received looks like it's very good quality stuff, all the negativity I read just has me kinda scared...

Re: CPP, good or bad?

Most people will air out their bad experience than those with good. I have seen people have good luck with their parts and Summit Racing sells their product. Personally I try to order from summit just because they take everything back with no hassle up to 90 days.

Re: CPP, good or bad?

I agree with Blazerowner. I see a lot of bad rap about CPP because of their customer service, back orders, etc.

I have a lot of their products but I didn't get them direct from CPP, I used a vendor like Blazerowner did.

Re: CPP, good or bad?

I think it depends on what parts you order from them. My springs droop like wet noodles after only a few weeks (way too soft). I had no issues with their tracbar or rear shock relocators though.

Re: CPP, good or bad?

The CPP parts I used all worked great ( bought thru Summit ) But you've already made your order so let us know how it works out for you .

Re: CPP, good or bad?

I feel there are better options and I'll leave it at that.

I did the same and I really like the parts I have got from them (drop springs, shocks, shock relocators, brake booster/master cylinder/distribution block). When I ordered through Summit I got the free shipping. But when I ordered my drop spring kit, even Summit had to kick CPP in the butt to get them to ship the parts. So other than crappy customer service, overall I like the parts they sell.
